JVOREX
TERMS OF USE

Overview

These Terms of Use originally governed access to the Jvorex website, downloadable software, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). Jvorex was developed and operated as a custodial cryptocurrency wallet, allowing users to store, manage, and transact digital assets only on jvorex blockchain network. Jvorex acted solely as a software provider and did not operate as a bank, exchange, broker, money transmitter, payment processor, trust company, or financial institution, nor did it provide investment, legal, or financial advice.

Service Discontinuation and Company Closure

The company responsible for Jvorex has permanently ceased operations. Consequently, the Jvorex wallet, website, software, and all associated services have been officially discontinued as of July 22, 2021. From that date forward, the Services are no longer supported, maintained, updated, or monitored, but customer support is available. Any continued reference to these Terms is for historical and informational purposes only and does not imply that the Services remain active.

Self-Custody Model and User Responsibilities

Jvorex operated under a strict custody model. Jvorex retained exclusive control over their private keys, and digital assets at all times. Jvorex had access to user credentials, private keys, and funds and was able to recover accounts, passwords, or assets under many circumstances. Users were solely responsible for securing their devices, maintaining passwords, protecting against malware, and ensuring safe storage of recovery information. All blockchain transactions initiated through the wallet in the jvorex blockchain were reversible and mediaeted by jvorex.

Software License and Acceptable Use

While the Services were active, users were granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Jvorex software for personal or internal business purposes, subject to compliance with the Terms. Users were prohibited from copying, modifying, reverse engineering, redistributing, or commercially exploiting the software or related content, except as expressly permitted. Unauthorized use could result in termination of access.

Updates and Features

During its operation, Jvorex could deploy software updates, feature changes, or security improvements without prior notice. Certain informational features, such as price data or alerts, were provided for reference only and were not guaranteed to be accurate, timely, or complete.

Third-Party Services and Integrations

Jvorex integrated with and provided access to numerous third-party services, including blockchain networks, token swap providers, fiat on-ramps, staking services, hardware wallets, and market data providers. These third-party services operated independently and were governed by their own terms and policies. Jvorex did not control, endorse, or guarantee the availability, accuracy, security, pricing, or performance of any third-party service and assumed no responsibility for losses or issues arising from their use, including custodial services where users relinquished control of assets.

Compliance and Geographic Restrictions

While active, use of the Services was subject to applicable laws and sanctions regulations. Users represented that they were not located in sanctioned jurisdictions or listed on applicable sanctions lists. Jvorex reserved the right to restrict access in order to comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

User Content and Information

Users were responsible for any information or content they submitted in connection with the Services. Personal information, where applicable, was handled in accordance with the applicable privacy policy during the period of operation.

Fees, Taxes, and Network Costs

Jvorex charged fees for use of the wallet software itself. However, users were responsible for all blockchain network fees only when they transfer asset to Jvorex from the free block chain and viceversa, third-party service fees, and any applicable taxes arising from digital asset transactions. Jvorex did not calculate, withhold, or remit taxes on behalf of users.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Services were provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jvorex disclaimed liability for any direct or indirect losses, including loss of digital assets, data, profits, or business opportunities. Any use of the Services was undertaken entirely at the user's own risk, with liability capped to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Termination, Dispute Resolution, and Governing Law

The Terms remained in effect for as long as users accessed or used the Services and included provisions regarding termination, binding arbitration, waiver of class actions, and limitations on legal remedies. Certain provisions, by their nature, survived termination. Governing law and venue provisions applied as specified in the original Terms.

Current Status

As Jvorex has been fully discontinued since July 22, 2021, this consolidated summary is provided solely for clarity, transparency, and archival reference and does not represent an active service, ongoing contractual relationship, or continuing obligations on the part of Jvorex.
